More ways to stay connected

 Peterborough Utilities Group is pleased to announce that we are now on Facebook and Twitter! We’ll use these sites to help provide notification of power outages and water main breaks. We will also be tweeting and posting information on everything from public meetings to conservation tips. We will continue to develop our presence on these sites as new programs emerge; for instance, Time-of-Use Billing and Metered Water. 

 We’re asking our customers not to use these sites to conduct day-to-day business transactions with
us, but to continue to use the normal channels for customer transactions such as billing and bookings.
Because we are not staffed to tweet and post around the clock, there may be power outages or
water main breaks that are not reported immediately. 

 However, if a service interruption is significant in size or duration, we will be online to update you on what is
happening and let you know when your services will be restored. 

 Since Twitter and Facebook are public sites and we want our content to be informative and positive, any comments or postings that contravene normal protocol for social
media sites may be removed.
