Last year, we placed third out of 84 Communities with a 4.5% reduction in electricity consumption on Challenge Day.

The Challenge is on again and this year and we want to win!

Communities all over Ontario are working together by taking The Power Pledge and challenging other communities in the following ways:

  • Highest per capita participation in the Power Pledge drive - Participating communities are ranked based on the number of power pledges as a percentage of their population. The Community with the highest percentage from April 20th to August 11th will win the challenge!
  • Highest percentage drop in electricity consumption on August 11, 2010 - This challenge will be measured based on our community's electricity consumption data.  This is the challenge we placed third in for 2009.
