No Pets

In order to protect the health of the animals in our collection we ask that you please do not bring your pets to Riverview Park and Zoo. Pets can frighten some species of zoo animals potentially causing serious or life threatening injury. Due to this as well as regulatory requirements, pets are not permitted on the Park and Zoo property.

Service Dogs

Fully trained Service Dogs are permitted on the grounds if they are working/providing support to a person with a disability. Service Dogs should be wearing an identifying vest and the client should have documentation of the animal’s certification as a Service Dog. Due to the potential risk of harm to our animals, the Park and Zoo is not a suitable location for the training of Service Dogs. Visitors planning on bringing a Service Dog to the Park and Zoo are asked to stop at Guest Services upon their arrival or to contact the Park and Zoo office prior to their visit.
