Billing and Payments

Peterborough Utilities Group offers many convenient options to pay your bill: pre-authorized payment, telephone, online banking or in-person at most financial institutions. You can also mail your cheque or money order directly to us. Choose the option that suits you best. Depending on your method of payment, please remember to allow up to five days for processing.

You can pay your water/sewer or rental bill with Mastercard or Visa online through PAYMENTUS or by calling toll free at 1-866-207-9914. (Please note there is a convenience fee of 1.75% of your payment). You will require your Peterborough Utilities Group six digit account number. This is the first six digits of your account-location number which is located in the top right corner of your bill. 

Tips for paying electronically 

Many of our customers now pay their bills via telephone or online banking. If you are having trouble setting up Peterborough Utilities - Water as a payee, here are two pointers that may help:

• When you set up your account, enter only the first six digits of your account-location number.

If you are unable to locate Peterborough Utilities - Water in the payee list, your financial institution could have us listed differently, such as Peterborough Utilities Group, PUC or PUG Services Corp. If you are still unable to locate our company, please contact your financial institution.  

Set up pre-authorized payments 

Join our convenient pre-authorized payment plan (PAP) and we will automatically withdraw your payment from your financial institution on the due date of your bill. 

To enroll please send us a PDF copy of a void cheque or direct deposit form from the bank.
