Water Management

Our waterpower facilities are located on the Trent-Severn Waterway which is managed by Parks Canada. We operate our waterpower stations under waterpower licences with Parks Canada. For further information on how water levels are managed, please visit their water management page.

The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority and the Lower Trent Conservation Authority are community-based environmental agencies that protect, restore and manage the natural resources within the Otonabee and Lower Trent watersheds.
